To resolve conflict is to handle ‘difference’ by applying highly specific and effective skills and behaviours.  To prevent conflict is to understand that conflict escalates and is best identified and resolved in the early stages.

Conflict Resolution and Prevention is a training program that has a focus on managing conflict at a team /organisational level. Empathy is explored as a critical behaviour for working with 'difference' and diversity.

Program Outcomes:
- Identification of sources of conflict and determine the emotional and business impact
- Recognition of the signs and stages of conflict
- Application of 5 conflict handling modes and behaviours (based on work of Thomas Kilmann)
- Application of empathetic behaviours - they can be learnt!
- Demonstration of skills and behaviours to disarm aggression
- Demonstration of planning and negotiating to achieve resolution
